There is a £1,000 reward on offer, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people who stole plant machinery in Salford.
Between 7.30pm on Friday 20 November 2015 and 8.30am on Saturday 21 November 2015, two diggers were stolen from Cambridge Industrial Estate on Elton Street, Lower Broughton.
It is believed a flat-bed truck, similar to a Leyland DAF or Iveco 705 tonne vehicle was used to take the diggers.
Greater Manchester Police have now released an image of the truck, and are appealing for witnesses.
“The victim is a local business man and has suffered a considerable financial loss which will have a significant impact on his livelihood. He is desperate to see them returned and has offered a £1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible”, Police Constable Scott Dowell said.
“We believe the truck in the CCTV was used to transport the diggers out of the industrial estate and I would ask anyone who saw them being taken to contact police as soon as possible”.
