With the new academic term having just started, most students will probably already have loads of work piling up in your diaries, however, you really do not want to miss what’s happening tonight.
Manchester is hosting its biggest students night out yet. Organised through a partnership between CityCo, The Heart of Manchester BID, Manchester Arndale and UNIDAYS, the event will be running from 4pm to 9pm.
Shops will offers, live music and food as a welcome home to all new and returning students.
Don’t forget your student card, as over 200 store will open their doors till late and will offer discounts for one night-only. Leading brands giving discount include Topshop, H&M, River Island, Gap, Cath Kidston, Pretty Green and Office all offering 20% off. Jack Wills and Henri Lloyd are offering a hefty 25% off and Levi’s 30% off.
Selfridge’s will also be offering discounts, gifts with purchase and prize draw competitions, while the House of Fraser has announced 20% off across the store and 10% off beauty (subject to a few exclusions).
In and outdoor stalls will be in abundance from Manchester Arndale, Exchange Square, Market Street, New Cathedral Street, St Ann’s Square, and King Street.
St Ann’s Square will also have a gaming zone, including giant inflatable human table football, prizes and hooks ducks.
The Warehouse Project’s ‘Drop the Mustard’ collective are sure to fill the high streets with the sweet sound of music and keep Market Street bustling along to its dulcet tones.
Finally Travelling Light Circus will be on tour to mesmerise the crowds.
