Aaron Cobham to appear in ‘Coronation Street’

29-year-old born acting talent Aaron Cobham has featured in a diverse range of roles throughout the early stages of his acting career. Most recently he has been filming for forthcoming episodes of ‘Coronation Street’ and will feature in the soap on the 15th and 18th of January.

TNT News caught up with the actor who has recently been in ‘Josh’, a sitcom starring comedian Josh Widdicombe, to ask him about his experience on the set of the famous cobbles. In the interview Aaron stated, “Everyone really enjoys their job in ‘Coronation Street’ and that creates a very professional and friendly working environment. Even the 30 year regulars of the show were very welcoming and made me feel part of the team immediately”.

He also added, “Ali King (Carla) was a pleasure to meet and it is clear to see why she has been so prominent on the soap for so long”. Hailing from Manchester, Aaron has featured in small roles in a host of TV shows, films and theatre productions and his acting ability, quite evidently, hasn’t gone unnoticed.

His performances as Roy in quirky TV series ‘Cucumber’, which provides an insight in to modern gay life in Manchester, was warmly received. Speaking about the series Aaron stated, “It was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Each individual actor interpreted their characters differently which was a great learning experience, given that some of the cast were really experienced actors and because of the diversity of the cast”.

As far as film is concerned, in 2013 he featured in the horror thriller ‘Dementamania’ and more recently the actor took a lead role in the short comedy ‘The Break Ups’. Aaron also has experience in theatre and in 2009 Aaron undertook a European theatre tour where he visited numerous places across Europe, including France, Spain and Portugal, where he developed an understanding of acting within the theatrical sphere.

Aaron Cobham is definitely a British actor that will be on the TNT Entertainment watchlist.
