Last weekend, Manchester’s Kane The Danger Mousah faced Alex Enlund in ACB 70 in Sheffield.
Kane emerged victorious in the Lightweight 70 kg fight via a split decision and now has ten victories with one loss.
Although he took his time to get the job done, Kane landed brilliant shots especially in the second round to drop Alex. Both fighters went toe-to-toe with some big shots. Kane did not have it easy however as Alex pressured him with his frustrating style of fighting.
Kane appeared the better fighter but Alex’s style frustrated him at times. Some commentators cited they would like to see Kane better-matched because ‘his style deserves better’.
The Manchester star was clearly fired up when among a slew of fighters who had recently called him out to fight he was offered the opportunity to meet Alex.
Leading up to the fight, Kane made no secret of the fact that he wants to test himself by clashing those more highly ranked in his weight class. His wish manifested itself in a very exciting matchup courtesy of his second outing at ACB.
Alex does have more experience with over sixteen fights with fourteen wins and now three losses. He was on a seven-fight win streak, a feat which saw him temporarily enlisted into the UFC. However, it was a short-lived experience following a suspected brain lesion. Since being cleared to fight, he met up with The Danger man from Manchester and lost.
Kane was mindful of Alex’s submission game and his wins over Nad Narimani and Artem Lobov. The Mancunian’s relentless pace and strikes did help him secure the win.
TNT would like to congratulate Kane on yet another fine victory, this black history month.
