Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that they now have a fully fit in-form Sergio Agüero, and he believes that the 27-year-old will be a vital player in the race for the title. The forward scored the winner in City’s 2-1 victory against Watford on Saturday, in what was his third game back after being sidelined for a month with a heel injury.
Wilfried Bony has been leading city’s attack in the absence of Agüero, but the clinical finishing of the Argentine is likely to add attacking potency to the team and could see Bony lose his place, if City decide to persist in playing one striker.
Pellegrini has stated, “Kun is very important to our team. He has improved also a lot in his whole performance, if you compare it with his last game”. City are just three points behind Arsenal with just less than half the season left to play, and will face Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
