At around 10.10am on Thursday 14 April 2016, two men approached a 64-year-old man who had entered Heaton Park from Sheepfoot Lane and was walking his dog around the park’s wooded area. The offenders ordered the man to raise his arms, then took cash as well as a solid 18ct yellow gold Rolex Oyster watch from him.
They quickly fled the scene.
Both were described as white, 5ft 8in tall, around 27 to 28 years old and slim, one with dark hair, facial stubble and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and trainers, the other one wearing a grey hoodie.
PC Claire Johnson from GMP’s North Manchester division said: “This incident has left the victim traumatised as the watch that was stolen was sentimental to him.
