Last week we told you some of the best places to holiday in the UK. But why stop at 5?

You don’t need to stretch the budget to have an amazing time from home. This week we’ve lined up more of the best places to visit this summer.

Compared to long haul flights, and airport faff, these destinations will feel like they’re a stone throw away from your doorstep.

Peak District 

Whatever the weather, and whatever the time of year, the Peak District has plenty to do. Famed for its beauty, the exquisite views will make the hike more than worthwhile. With an array of stunning cottages, cabins to choose from, a week or weekend away in the Peaks serves as a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Eastbourne

Eastbourne is a holiday destination that is suits the whole family. From theme parks and zoos, to museums and galleries to breathtaking sceneries. Take a walk along Beach Head; one of the UK’s highest chalk sea cliff and the location of several famous movie moments – from James Bond to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

Llandudno

The seaside town of Llandudno sits on the Creuddyn peninsula. The Alice in Wonderland Town Trails make Llandudno a favourite for all those who love the Lewis Carrol tale. Explore the medieval castles and get lost in Llandudno’s rich history.

Great Yarmouth
