Justin Bieber ended the last of his trio of Manchester gigs on a low in October, throwing his microphone and storming off stage.
Bieber’s frustration surfaced at the first of the sold-out shows, when he voiced his annoyance at fans screaming too loudly. He wanted the crowd to be quiet whilst he spoke between songs saying, “I just thought I could have a moment to say something. I can cut the b***s*** if you want”.
On the final night of #PurposeTourManchester, tensions escalated. The international pop star once again complained to fans that he wanted them to stop screaming whilst the songs weren’t playing.
Some fans then started to boo following Bieber’s request, which was what prompted him to throw his mic and storm off stage.
Many took to social media to have their say on the events. Twitter user @KatysPrismLight wrote, “Justin Bieber throwing a paddy onstage in Manchester LMAO just cause an ARENA of 22,000 people won’t be silent, he’s a joke”.
Bieber did return to the stage to continue his set list. However he announced, “I’m not going to talk the rest of the night. We’re just going to do the music. Obviously Manchester just can’t handle it so let’s do the music”.
Beliebers have been left divided in opinions following the 22-year-old’s behaviour, with some claiming that Manchester doesn’t deserve him.
