When most people think ‘autumn drink festival’, they often think ‘boozy festivals’, not this time. With the success of the first two years, Cup North ‘Coffee Festival’, returned to Manchester for a third annual event.
The biggest celebration of coffee in the north returned to Manchester for a two-day takeover at Victoria Warehouse on 5-6 November.
Manchester Coffee Festival – formerly known as Cup North, brought forth together a diverse range of activities. With pop-ups from independent coffee shops, roasteries, importers and baristas from across the region for a weekend of fun.
Aiming to teach people about coffee, visitors had the chance to try speciality coffees from around the globe.
The festival also pulled together a wide array coffee specialist from Northern England. This gave locals the chance to learn how to make the perfect brew from industry pros.
Creator of Cup North, Hannah Davis says: “Our aim is to bring consumers in who don’t know a lot about coffee”.
Co-Creator of Cup North Ricardo Gandara added “We just want to bring good coffee to everyone”.
Although titled Coffee festival, Coffee was not the only drink being celebrated at the two-day event. The festival included a variety of drinks from, Tea, Chai, Hot Chocolate, to a selection of different cakes and snacks.
With Christmas around the corner, ‘booze’ seems to be the ideal drink for many. But why not try a brew instead?
