Bolton women held at knife point

A woman had a knife held to her throat when a man jumped into her car in Bolton.

At 6.40pm on Saturday 5 September 2015 the 19-year-old victim was sat in her car, a silver Ford Fiesta, outside Trinity Street railway station when a man jumped into the passenger seat.

He told her to drive and demanded that she give him her money and phone. The victim was made to drive for about 20 minutes, towards Bury, whilst the man threatened her with a knife and stole items from her handbag and removed the jewellery she was wearing.

The woman stopped in a housing estate near to Bury Road and Radcliffe Moor Road, where the man got out and the victim was able to go and ask for help.

The man is described as white, between 22 and 25-years-old, 5ft 7in tall and was wearing dark coloured trousers, a light-coloured jacket with the hood up and white surgical gloves.

The footage isn’t clear by any means but do you recognise the clothing, have you heard anything, if so contact the police.
