A 29-year-old actor from Noel Clarke’s recent film Brotherhood has died suddenly.
According to reports, Aaron Eaton, who starred as Teardrop in the new film, was found dead earlier this week.
The actor, who still lived with his family in New Addington, South London, died just days after the release of Brotherhood, however the cause of his death has not been confirmed.
Brotherhood had been Eaton’s breakthrough movie. Director Noel Clarke took to social media to pay tribute to him.
“… RIP Aaron. Spoke only a few days ago. I had more for you. Prayers to your family.”, Clarke tweeted.
Even grime star Stormzy was among those paying his respects to Eaton on social media:
“Rest in perfect peace my bro 🙏🏿❤️ can’t believe it, love and prayers to your family smh.”, Stormzy wrote.
Eaton was an up-and-coming actor who had recently been nominated at the London-based International Achievement Awards for his role as Wolfy in the 2015 British film AWOL (Absent Without Love).
He was also a mentor for young actors in South London.
Brotherhood, the final part of Noel Clarke’s trilogy which also included Adulthood and Kidulthood, was released in cinemas on August 29.
It has taken over £2m at UK cinemas to date.
