Cash-in-transit robbery in Fallowfield

 

Police have issued images following a cash-in-transit robbery in Fallowfield. At around 11.30am on the 28th of October, the cash machine was being emptied inside Premier Convenience store on Lloyd Street South when two men entered the shop. They demanded cash and took a box containing a small amount of money before making a swift exit, both men wore balaclavas and carried umbrellas. One of the perpetrators is described as being a 6ft 3in tall well built white man who he wore a light hooded top and white trainers.

Detective Constable Chris Clarke remarked “we believe the offenders ran in to the store from the bottom of Platt Lane and left in the same direction, turning right in to an alley way and in to a local estate.
