Manchester’s brightest stars turned out in force at this year’s Manchester Pride Spring Benefit to raise money for LGBT and HIV charities.
Former X-Factor stars Rebecca Ferguson and acoustic songstress Lucy Spraggan performed at the event on Friday 20 May, with special guests including the stars of Coronation Street.
Mark Fletcher, Chief Executive at Manchester Pride, said: “What a night! We are delighted to have hosted such a brilliant night at The Bays Victoria Warehouse Hotel and to have raised so much money for LGBT causes”.
“Rebecca and Lucy stole the show but we couldn’t have done it without our fantastic guests who were unbelievably generous”.
Guests, including Coronation Street’s Debbie Rush, Mikey North, Sair Khan and Bruno Langley, were also invited to a sparkling drinks reception in Bays Brick Bar.
At one of his first public engagements since taking office, new Lord Mayor of Manchester Cllr Carl Austin-Behan was also seen at the Victoria Warehouse Hotel.
The event was sponsored by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manchester dealership, who provided a fleet of luxury vehicles for VIP guests travelling to the fundraiser, including a flamboyant purple Wraith.
The night featured an auction for prizes as tantalising as dinner with the cast of Corrie, and a box at the Manchester Arena for Lionel Ritchie.
