Chelsea’s David Luiz plots switch to Manchester United

Chelsea’s David Luiz to switch to Manchester United?

Chelsea defender David Luiz is plotting a transfer to Manchester United after a reported bust-up with manager Antonio Conte.

Luiz is so furious with Conte’s treatment of him that he is considering joining old boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The Chelsea defender has had a spectacular fall-out with Conte. He was condemned to the stands for the victory over United earlier this month.

Conte has refused to say if Luiz will be restored to the squad that will travel to Leicester City on 18 November.

The Daily Star claim Luiz is raging with the lack of support he has received from the club hierarchy. His anger is concerned with the lack of suppport after Conte banished him from the first-team.

Jose Mourinho is believed to be now ready to swoop in and lure the centre-back to Old Trafford.

Luiz worked with Mourinho in his first spell at Chelsea and believes his relationship with Conte could be broken beyond repair.

Conte demonstrated with Diego Costa that once a player disrespects him, there is virtually no way back.

Chelsea do not want Luiz to join a direct Premier League rival. They would prefer the Blue star move abroad, should he leave the club at all.
