Daniel Craig is gearing up for his last stint as James Bond, in the franchise’s 25th film.
The first pictures of the 007 star alongside a string of his co-stars have emerged, as they begin shooting out in Jamaica.
In snaps taken from the garden of author Ian Fleming’s home, the 51-year-old could be seen posing with Naomie Harris and Léa Seydoux, with newcomers Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch beside them.
However, one person who wasn’t in Jamaica was Rami Malek – who has been confirmed for a role in the upcoming film.
While it is not yet known who the 37-year-old will be playing, he hinted he would definitely be starring as a villain – telling fans he wouldn’t be giving Bond an easy ride of it.
In a pre-recorded chat with the actor – who couldn’t join the cast because of work commitments – he insisted: ‘I’m very much looking forward to joining the cast and crew so very soon.
‘And I promise you all I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing. Cheers!’
Bond 25 is set to land in cinemas next year. A summary for the next instalment revealed everyone’s favourite spy comes up against a villain armed with ‘dangerous new technology’. Aka Rami.
‘Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help,’ it read.
‘The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.’
Speaking about what else we can expect, director Cary Fukunaga promised he would keep ‘upping the ante’ on his first time at the Bond helm.
‘Daniel is my favourite Bond, I want to make sure this run of films – which have been fantastic – have a really great next chapter and keep upping the ante,’ he said.
