Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Moss Side have made a second arrest.
Shortly before 8.40pm on Tuesday 8 August 2017, police were called to reports of a fight on Crosshill Road.
When officers arrived they discovered four people with stab wounds, and they were taken to hospital.
A man, who has been formally identified as 18-year-old Sait Mboob, sadly died shortly afterwards. A Home Office Post Mortem concluded that Sait died from stab wounds.
A 17 and an 18-year-old have been released from hospital. A 17 year-old remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. The man remains in police custody for questioning.
The 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Police are keeping an open mind as to motive. But a line of enquiry is whether the offenders have links to street criminality.
