On Thursday 14 May police raids uncovered large amounts of cash and drugs at two Salford residences. The properties, one on Douglas Road and the other on Linnets Wood Mews, also yielded up a suspicious quantity of watches.
Two men in their early 30s have been arrested in relation to the raids. The first on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply, in addition to money laundering, and the second on suspicion of money laundering alone. However, the men – aged 32 and 31 respectively – have both been released on bail pending further enquiries.
“Our investigations are continuing and if anyone has any information they think will assist I would encourage them to contact us,” Detective Inspector Joe Clarke has said.
