Five men appear in court in connection with 40 residential burglaries

Five men appeared at Stockport Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday 21 July 2017). They were remanded in custody in connection with 40 residential burglaries across Stockport and Derbyshire. 

Daniel Lloyd, Middlesex Road was charged with conspiracy to burgle and possession of a controlled drug. Aaron Sowter, Northumberland Road was charged with conspiracy to burgle and possession of a controlled drug. Wayne Hester, Lapwing Lane was charged with conspiracy to burgle. Christopher Hargreaves also of Middlesex Road was charged with conspiracy to burgle. Also two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon and one count of possession of a controlled drug. Regan Harte, Morgan Place was charged with conspiracy to burgle.

A number of warrants were executed yesterday (Thursday 20 July 2017) morning at addresses in Brinnington and Reddish. All warrants were issued as part of an investigation into burglaries across Stockport and Derbyshire, where high-value vehicles were stolen.
