Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is investigating a suspected arson in Oldham.
On Thursday 21 January 2016, at around 12pm, unknown offenders went into a temporarily vacant property on Belmont Street in Oldham and started a fire.
The fire spread to the houses next door causing extensive damage. Fire-fighters spent hours tackling the blaze. Nobody was injured.
A joint investigation between the police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the fire.
Detective Constable Mike Patterson said: “We are treating this fire as arson and enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly how the fire started and who may have been involved.
