Police are appealing for information following a burglary that took place in a commercial building in Trafford Park.
Shortly before 8.40am on Friday 24 February 2017, police were called to the site in Trafford Park. They responded to reports that a unit on Astra Road had been broken into via the roof.
The offenders used trolleys to push the goods to a nearby vehicle. According to reports, a large number of brand new digital televisions were stolen. It is estimated that they had a value of £50,000. The stolen TVS were of different makes, but predominantly consisted on Samsung, LG and JVC models.
After seizing the goods, the offenders proceeded to flee onto Guinness Road before making off in an unknown direction.
The incident is thought to have taken place between 00.55am and 5.10am.
Detective Constable Simon Johnson, of GMP’s Trafford borough, said:
“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident in the early hours or who has been offered a TV for sale from any of these makes in suspicious circumstances, to get in touch. You could hold vital information”.
