Lethal Bizzle squashes beef with Kem and Chris over song
Lethal Bizzle has claimed Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes have agreed to give him a percentage in the royalties for their new track Little Bit Leave It.
The rapper, 33, joked that he intended to get a ‘healthy cheque’ from the Love Island stars. This came after he said the duo stole his phrase ‘leave it’ in the song.
He said he now supports the single in an Instagram video after the reality stars turned rappers ‘came to their senses’ amid the bitter feud. He also states that they acknowledged his intellectual property rights.
Speaking in an Instagram video on Friday, Bizzle comically referred to the duo as ‘Kemp and Ross’ as he gave his blessing to their song.
‘Kemp and Ross came to their senses and we’ve agreed to a percentage of the Little Bit Leave It song’
‘There, so no more issues,’ he said.
‘So you lot, go out there and support the ting cos now I’m getting paid for it, I’m going to make sure my cheque is healthy so support it, it’s out now and all that good stuff.’
His manager said: ‘Kem and Chris’ record label have been in contact with us and we’ve agreed a percentage share for Bizzle in the royalties.
‘Chris and Kem have been given an amazing opportunity to release a record, and now that they’ve acknowledged Lethal Bizzle, we wish them the best of the success with the record and hold no hard feelings towards them! Kemp and Ross to number 1!’
