Malala Yousafzai urges action for Nigerian schoolgirls

Education activist Malala Yousafzai has spoken out about the kidnapping of Nigerian schoolgirls by the Boko Haram 300 days ago.

It has been almost a year since hundreds of girls from Chibok were taken and this week 17 year-old Malala criticised the lack of action being taken to find the girls.

Writing on her website, Nobel Prize Winner Malala called the response to the situation “weak” and said that more would have been done had the girls been from more influential backgrounds.
