A police investigation over shots fired in Old Trafford has led to the arrest of one man.
Shortly before 11.55pm on Wednesday 1 February 2017 General Manchester Police (GMP) were called to Alphonsus Street. It was reported that a group of men were fighting at a social club.
After recovering a number of bullets from the scene, it was established that a firearm had been discharged.
Despite the array of bullets, no one was injured.
After extensive enquiries into the case, police officers have since arrested a 25-year-old man. The man, who has not yet been named, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. A firearm was also recovered.
