A man has died following a collision between a motorbike and three cars in Reddish.
Shortly before 9pm on 3 June, a blue Suzuki motorbike collided with a red Citroen C3 on the junction of Broughton Road and Reddish Road in South Reddish, before also colliding with a black Audi SQ5 and a white Renault van.
The rider of the motorbike, a 20-year-old man from Bollington, was taken to hospital where he sadly died, whereas the drivers of the other cars involved were uninjured.
Reddish Road was closed for five hours whilst emergency services dealt with the scene, but has since been re-opened.
Police Sergeant Helen Hallworth of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam footage of the incident, or the minutes leading up to it, to come forward and speak to police”.
