For its 18th edition, Manchester’s food and drink festival returned, on the 10th of September, to Albert square. With a great selection of stalls, foods, drinks, cheeses, churros, great music, this year promises to entertain the city centre with an outstanding array of diverse artists until the 21st of this month.
For the Manchester residents the annual event represents a fantastic opportunity to discover and enjoy different varieties of foods and drinks, with up to 120 different kinds of beers, a cocktail bar and even a biospheric mushroom farm. Along tasting sessions and chefs’ demos, it is also an opportunity for various local bands to perform during live concerts.
From a business point of view, the event represents an incredible opportunity, not only for the city but also for local entrepreneurs, with great marketing and promotional benefits. Melissa from the Mei Mei’s Street Cart, explained to TNT how the festival allowed her to promote her soon to open Chinese crepes restaurant in the Northern Quarters.
Information on how to participate in the event are available on foodanddrinkfestival.com.
Local members of our community and entrepreneurs are highly encouraged to participate in this celebration of food and drink diversity, which in many ways reflects our beautiful city.
