US pop band Maroon 5 are joining forces with rap star Kendrick Lamar in new single ‘Don’t Wanna Know’.
This exciting collaboration was released on Wednesday 12 October, with the music video premiering on Friday 14 October.
The Grammy Award-winning Californian group re-teamed with acclaimed director, producer and screenwriter David Dobkin, who is behind their sensational hit ‘Sugar’ – their most viewed video with over 1.4 billion views on YouTube.
Maroon 5’s first official collaboration with seven time Grammy Award-winning artist Kendrick Lamar showcases the evolution of both artists.
The group fronted by Adam Levine won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album, ‘Songs About Jane’ – back in 2004.
Since then they have solidified their position as one of pop music’s most enduring artists, having sold more than 17 million albums worldwide, and going gold and platinum in over 35 countries.
They released their fifth studio album ‘V’ in 2014, which included the hit singles ‘Animals’, ‘Maps’, and ‘Sugar’. The band is currently on a North American headline tour.
