Morgan Freeman’s Granddaughter stabbed to death

Veteran Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman has revealed the tragic news that his granddaughter has died after being stabbed multiple times.

Reports reveal that 33 year-old E’Dena Hines received multiple stab wounds to the chest outside her New York home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

She was taken to Harlem hospital by ambulance where she was sadly pronounced dead.

E’Dena was the granddaughter of Morgan Freeman’s first wife but referred to Freeman as her grandfather as he called her his granddaughter. The trained actor and writer appeared in Freeman’s film 5 Flights Up as a receptionist.

Mr. Freeman wrote on Facebook:

“I want to acknowledge the tremendous outpouring of love and support my family has received regarding the tragic and senseless passing of my granddaughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Lamar Davenport, 30, was charged with second-degree murder on Monday after it was reported that he dragged Ms. Hines from the apartment that they shared and stabbed her in an alleged “exorcism”.
