In association with the Manchester Regeneration Department, Amazin’ Business Solutions Ltd have organised the 4th Business Enterprise Day, which will include a Christmas Market.
The day has been designed to celebrate the achievements of small businesses and social enterprises. This event has been planned so that it coincides with Small Business Saturday UK, a non-commercial campaign that highlights small businesses’ success and that encourages consumers to ‘shop local’.
Moss Side Leisure Centre will be staging the annual Business Enterprise Day event with a packed programme of activities scheduled for the day. The event includes over 40 business exhibition stands, interactive workshops and a fashion exhibition. Information regarding which businesses will be attending can be accessed in the build up to the day, organiser of the event Richard Davidson has stated, “Local radio stations are planning to interview a number of local businesses leading up to and throughout the day of the event”.
There will also be a business pitch competition that will award successors with cash prizes and mentoring sessions. The competition also offers participants access to potential investors, suppliers, distributors, partners and networking opportunities.
The Market Square (located next to Asda Hulme) will also host part of the day. It will be home to numerous colourful and eccentric Christmas Market stalls, which will have a wide range of products on sale. The Market Square will be an ideal place to pick up lucrative Christmas gifts. Mr. Davidson said, “Local market vendors will be taking part in the event with a Christmas Market, which I hope will last the whole week”.
The event will begin at 10.00am and will end at around 4.30pm, admission is free. Business exhibition stands are available.
