Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was stabbed in Moss Side.
Shortly before 8:10pm on Saturday 11 November 2017. Police were called to reports that a taxi driver had been stabbed on Ruskin Avenue.
Emergency services attended and the 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains there for treatment however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Enquiries have established the driver picked up a man on Dickenson Road, Longsight before driving to Ruskin Avenue.
After the car stopped, the customer began arguing over the cost of the fare before repeatedly stabbing the driver and fleeing the scene.
The offender is described as a slim white man in his mid-20s with dark hair. He was wearing a black coat with a black hoodie underneath with the hood up.
