Greater Manchester Police (GMP) investigating the death of a woman in Salford have arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Having been called on Sunday 29 November 2015 to a property on St Helier’s Drive in Salford, officers discovered the body of a 36-year-old woman.
The woman is yet to be formally identified but her next-of-kin have been informed.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding her death.
Detective Chief Inspector Terry Crompton said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have any information about the woman’s death to come forward so we can give her family the answers they deserve”.
The man arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in police custody for questioning.
