Natalie Cole leaves a fortune for very special friends

Natalie Cole wanted to share her wealth with more than just her family after she died, and in particular she decided to benefit two friends who took great care of her.

The iconic singer sadly passed away on New Year’s Eve 2015 from congestive heart failure at the age of 65, and now we are learning a little bit about who she included in her will.

The will lists $1.3m in assets and according to it, Natalie also created a trust fund with undisclosed amounts of money and further assets.

The ‘This Will Be’ and ‘Inseparable’ singer listed several beneficiaries in her will including her son Robert Yancy and several other relatives.

Natalie, daughter of Nat King Cole, also left money for two very special friends – Benita Hill and Tamara Engelstein – who were both a great source of support during her battle with Hepatitis C.
