A new initiative called the Big Channel Fund has been set-up to help Manchester’s homeless community.
The fund comprises of a group of Homeless charities and organisations, who have teamed up to tackle the city’s homeless problem.
Their aim is to support rough-sleepers in getting off and staying off the streets, through aiding them to find accommodation and get back into work.
Organisers hope the fund will allow for more opportunities for homeless people, including providing money for flat furnishings, aiding with travel costs and training to get back into employment.
