Nicki Minaj has received an honorary key to her hometown of Queens for her “outstanding career achievements in music”.
The popular rapper moved to South Jamaica, Queens from Port of Spain, Trinidad when she was five-years-old.
Queens Borough President Melinda Katz gifted Minaj with a key to the city. Minaj took to Twitter to show her appreciation.
Minaj was honoured with the key before her performance at the inaugural NBA Awards on June 27.
She isn’t the first rapper to receive keys to their cities in recent months.
Big Sean was honoured in Detroit, Drake in Toronto, and most recently, Fabulous was presented a key to Brooklyn.
The achievement is the latest in a long list of awards Minaj has received.
She became the first artist to win Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the BET awards four times in a row.
Minaj is also the highest-charting female rapper of all time.
