Paris Jackson has spoken out on her father’s death deeming it a ‘set up’ rather than an overdose.
The 18-year-old was recently interviewed by the Rolling Stone. In the interview she revealed that she ‘absolutely’ believes that the ‘King of Pop’ was murdered.
Paris rejected claims that her father’s death was caused by a drug overdose. Instead she believes that Michael was ‘set up’.
Michael died aged 50 in 2009 after going into cardiac arrest, after taking a combination of prescription drugs.
His daughter Paris says that ‘all arrows’ point to murder rather than overdose. Paris believes this is the case as ‘a lot of people’ wanted her father dead.
Paris says that Michael once told her “They’re gonna kill me one day”. The 18-year-old says he would ‘drop hints about people being out to get him’.
Paris says that it is ‘obvious’ that Michael was murdered. She believes that there is more to the story. Paris says it may sound like ‘a total conspiracy theory’. The teen says that ‘all real fans’ and ‘everybody in the family’ know that it was a ‘set up’.
The Pop legend’s daughter says that she and her siblings will continue to fight for justice. She likens the fight for justice as being a ‘chess game’.
Paris says she is ‘trying to play the chess game the right way’. She can’t give further detail about it ‘right now’.
Jackson’s doctor, Dr Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011. Paris has not mentioned Murray’s involvement and has not mentioned any other names.
Paris has had a turbulent past few years following her father’s death. She has revealed that she has tried to kill herself ‘multiple times’. The 18-year-old is now in a better state and is pursuing careers in modelling and acting.
Paris has spoken on the recent interview, tweeting that she will not be answering further questions. It is ‘crystal clear’ she says.
