Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is appealing for help with investigations into the stabbing of two men. The incident took place at around 4am on Saturday 5 November.
Police were informed of a fight breaking out in Manchester city centre, in the Withy Grove and Dantzic Street area of the Printworks.
At the scene they found a 31-year-old man with stab wounds. He now remains in hospital with serious injuries. Later, a 30-year-old man was found with stab wounds at Manchester Royal Infirmary following the incident. Both men had been stabbed in the back.
Detective Inspector Vicki Kenyon from GMP’s City Centre team has urged anyone with information to get in touch:
“We know there were lots of people around at the time and many of them were trying to calm the situation down, we would like to speak to all of those people so we can find out exactly what happened”.
18-year-old Jack Clarke has already been charged with GBH with intent and GBH without intent. Two other 18-year-old males have been arrested and investigations are ongoing.
