Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has launched an investigation following the death of a man in Bolton.
At around 11.35am on 10 February 2017, police were called to an address in Bolton.
Shortly before, the ambulance services were called to the property. It had been reported that a man had taken ill.
When the ambulance service arrived, a disruption inside the property caused paramedics to alert police.
Upon entering the property police discovered a man who was unconscious but breathing. Paramedics administered treatment but the man sadly died shortly afterwards.
A 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. They remain in police custody for questioning.
A Home Office post-mortem is due to take place to establish the exact cause of the man’s death.
