Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is investigating the stabbing of two men in Salford, whilst appealing for witnesses.
Police received reports from Salford Royal Hospital that two men had attended the hospital with serious injuries just before 1.55am on Friday 29 April.
An 18-year-old man was found to have numerous injuries, including a stab wound to his thigh, and the other man, aged 19, was found to have a puncture wound to his hand.
The two have now left hospital to continue their recovery from injury.
Information on where the incident actually took place is unclear apart from the fact that it occurred in Salford. Nonetheless, police are appealing for anybody who may have information to come forward.
Whilst appealing for witnesses, Detective Sergeant Julie Connor from GMP’s Major Incident Team said: “it is possible that somebody may have seen some sort of disturbance or physical confrontation.
“If anybody has any information that they believe could help our enquiries then please contact police”.
