Multi platinum selling and Grammy Award winning artist ‘Rihanna’ announced her ‘The Anti World Tour’ just days ago. The tour, which is being produced by Live Nation, will commence in North America on Friday the 23rd of February at Viejas Arena in San Diego, California.
The epic tour will see nearly 70 live performances from the Barbadian born singer, with cities such as New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington D.C and Los Angeles among the places chosen to host shows. American rapper Travis Scott will be the special guest for the scheduled North American dates.
The European leg of the tour will then follow with dates set in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Vienna and many more. Big Sean and Canadian singer The Weeknd will feature as special guests on all of the European dates. The Weeknd is an artist who has been gathering plaudits since 2011 and the quirky performer has become a touring force. The 2014 King of The Fall Tour sold out all dates as did the 2015 The Madness Fall Tour, since then The Weeknd’s festival appearance, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and HARD Summer, have attracted massive crowds.
Puma are a supporting partner in the tour and the global sports brand have been a partner of Rihanna’s since December of 2014. The global superstar has recently made an impact on the fashion and sneaker world after the launch of her FENTY PUMA label and the coveted PUMA Creeper sneaker.
As part of the ‘Anti World Tour’ Puma will create unique on-site activations and retail programmes in selected North American tour venues, in order to develop awareness for the forthcoming launches within Rihanna’s collection.
