A man has managed to help police create an efit after suffering a fracture to the hand, another to his nose, and a bleed on his brain after a brutal attack on Crawford Street, Rochdale.
On Monday 8 June at 8am the 31 year-old was asked the time by someone he thought to be simply a ‘passer-by’, only to be dragged to the floor, kicked in the head and robbed of his mobile phone. The culprit then scarpered along Thames Street.
The victim has described his attacker as having a pale complexion and medium to stocky build, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 9in, and wearing a pale grey tracksuit, the hood of which was obscuring his face.
Detective Constable Donna Rollinson said: “Thanks to the help of the victim, we have been able to create an efit of the offender and I would urge people to take a good look at it.”
