From Monday 24 to Saturday 29 October, Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show will visit Manchester’s Opera House.
After the huge success of the show’s first stint at the venue back in January, the cast are getting back into character and ready for round two.
Charlie Condou, who previously played Marcus in Coronation Street, once again takes on the role of the narrator. Charlie has spoken of his excitement with regards to the return of the production. “It’s such an iconic show, I’m looking forward to rejoining the wonderful cast and to seeing the brilliant audiences – who I am sure will again be keeping me on my toes”.
Other well known names in the production include S Club Seven’s Paul Cattermole, who plays the role of Eddie/Dr Scott.
The Rocky Horror Show is the story of two college kids – Brad and his fiancée Janet – who come across the Frankenstein place by chance when their car breaks down. They meet Dr Frank N Furter and find themselves in the middle of one of his experiments.
It’s a weird and wonderful production, full of life and sound. The show is a light-hearted approach to horror, which prides itself on audience involvement and enjoyment.
As though all of this wasn’t enough, the Rocky Horror Show is also the home of classic songs such as ‘The Time-Warp’.
