A second man has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a man in Manchester city centre.
At about 3.25am on Sunday 4 January 2015, police were called to Charles Street by the ambulance service to reports a man had been stabbed.
When officers attended they found dozens of people gathered at the scene and Clarence Edwards, 26, on the floor with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he sadly died a short time later.
Early enquiries have established that Clarence was found with stab wounds following a disturbance between a group of people outside R Base nightclub on Charles Street.
A 37-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody for questioning. A second man, aged 26, has also now been arrested on suspicion of murder and is also in police custody for questioning.
A Home Office post-mortem examination has revealed Clarence died as a result of stab wounds.
