Police investigating the death of a man in Farnworth have made a second arrest after an 18-year-old man was detained on suspicion of manslaughter and bailed until the 18th of January.
A 28-year-old man has become the second individual to be arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, and remains in custody for questioning.
Shortly before 2am on Saturday the 21st of November police were called to reports of a disturbance on Burnham Walk in Farnworth, officers attended and found a 43-year-old man who was barely conscious. The man was taken to hospital where he sadly later died.
A home-office post-mortem examination took place and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
