Seeing pink: Manchester Fashion Industry celebrates 3rd birthday

In an evening of glitz and glamour, Manchester Fashion Industry held the Rethink: Pink event. In a double celebratory (and celebrity) night, MCR Fashion industry showcased the SS17 styles and celebrated their 3rd birthday.

Taking place in Menagerie Bar and Restaurant, the SS17 event guests entered on pink carpet with a photographer outside. With cupcakes, cocktails and gift bags on arrival, the night began with a promise of luxury.

Attending the event were several well-known celebrities including footballers, reality TV stars and bloggers dressed in hues of pink. Ex on the Beach’s Ross Worswick, Helen Brigs and Chet Johnson were some of the TV stars that attended.

Former Big Brother star, Lisa Appleton also occasioned the event, wearing a deep plum jumpsuit.

Jsky, Manchester singer and fashionista, attended the event wearing a white jacket, pink shorts, gold veil and a walking cane.

Sporting legend, Ricky Hatton, was also one of the celeb guests to attend. Not sticking to the pink dress code, Ricky’s arrival didn’t quite make the knockout punch he may have hoped for.

Live singers and performers entertained guests before the highly anticipated main event: the SS17 fashion show.

The night saw Ella Shaw perform an array of songs before dancers performed from suspended hoops from the ceiling.

The Couture Club and CC Couture were the brands that showcased their SS17 lines including swimwear.

Following the fashion show, the after party was held at The Milton Club.
