Spice Girls have added four new dates to their upcoming UK tour after the initial batch of tickets sold out in minutes.
The iconic girl group will play twos additional shows in Manchester (on the 29 and 31 May) and two in London (on the 13 and 14 June).
Fans of the group complained online that they were unable to purchase tickets as seller Ticketmaster struggled with demand for tickets. The site posted on Twitter: “It’s a VERY busy morning and we’re selling tickets fast. To ensure fair access some of you may see queue pages, please follow the instructions.”
Four of the original girl group’s members – Geri Horner, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton – are returning for the tour, while Victoria Beckham has opted not to rejoin. They will be joined by special guest Jess Glynne at the shows.
Rumours about a possible tour had been swirling for years, with some of the group’s members giving increasingly strong hints over the past few months that plans to revive the 90s group were indeed in the pipeline.

Register your details with the website you are booking from in advance, if you can, but don’t panic if you haven’t left enough time as your tickets will be held while you fill out your information
In addition, check how many tickets you are allowed to buy in one purchase. If you try to buy more than the limited number, your booking may be cancelled without notice, meaning no-one gets to go.
