Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are appealing for witnesses after a van driver was left with serious head injuries in Stockport.
Police were called to Dialstone Lane, Offerton at around 10pm on Thursday 7 April where they found a 31-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. Damage had also been caused to the windscreen of the van being driven by the victim at the time.
The man is in a critical condition in hospital but the police are yet to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Detective Inspector Cheryl Hughes from the GMP’s Stockport Division said:
“I would like to appeal for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen what happened or who may have information regarding this case.
“I would also like for those persons who assisted the male at the roadside to make contact with the police”.
