Shortly after 4.40pm on Thursday 3 December 2015, a woman and her 18-year-old daughter pulled up in the Aldi car park on Bolton Road, Irlams O’ t’ Height.
The woman went into the shop, whilst her daughter waited in the car. Two men approached the car and dragged her out, before driving away in the car. They drove it only a short distance before abandoning it on Gladstone Street in Swinton.
The first man is described as white, of skinny build, between late teens to early twenties, clean shaven and was wearing a dark snood.
The second man is described as white, in his mid-late 40s, of average build, with a bad complexion.
Detective Constable James Harris of Salford division said, “This was a terrifying ordeal for a young woman to go through and she was left feeling scared and shaken.
“I appeal to anyone who saw the men or knows who they are to get in touch with police immediately. I would also remind people to be vigilant and lock their car doors”.
