Tensions are reportedly sky-high between ‘Fast and Furious’ actors Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and Mark Sinclair (Vin Diesel).
‘The Rock’, who has just finished filming the newest addition to the ‘Fast and Furious’ collection, ‘Fast 8’, took to Instagram on 9 August to express his frustration on set.
Johnson posted on Instagram: “This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. […] My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t.
“The ones that don’t are too chicken sh** to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right. #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses”.
Adding to reports of the supposed dispute between the two actors, Vin Diesel posted a cryptic video on Instagram on 10 August. In the video the 49-year-old actor promised “to tell us everything”, which many fans believe hints towards the reported tensions.
Even though, ‘The Rock’ didn’t name Vin Diesel specifically, his later post only added to speculation. On 11 August he posted a promotional image for his new line of sportswear, which some Instagram users have suggested is a subtly dig at Diesel. ‘The Rock’ captioned the photo, which promotes his #BloodSweatRespect collection: “First two we give, the last we EARN. Let’s earn it”.
