Thousands of pounds of clothing from Sale shop


Thousands of pounds worth of clothing was been stolen in a shop in Sale after thieves smashed their way in.

Although the burglary happened on Saturday 31 October, Greater Manchester Police are still appealing for any witnesses or information.

Four offenders parked outside of the shop front in a white Ford Transit van and a dark coloured BMW.

The perpetrators smashed through the glass front door and went into the shop; stealing a large quantity of clothing items, which they put into the back of the van.

The two vehicles then made off from the scene, turning around in the middle of Washway Road and heading towards the M60 motorway junction – Stretford Junction.

The four offenders, all believed to be men, all wore dark clothing and face coverings during the burglary.

Following the incident, Detective Constable Emma Bentley based at Altrincham police station said, “We have released some CCTV images of the burglary taking place and are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information about those responsible, to please come forward and speak to us”.
