One is still in police custody for questioning
Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the death of 28-year-old Michael Blake.
On 3 November 2016, police were called to Manchester Road, Westhoughton.
Officers found Blake with gunshot wounds – to his leg and at the back of his head. He was rushed to hospital but sadly died on the morning of 4 November 2016.
A 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. However, he has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A second 27-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
In addition, a 52-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The local community remains shocked and saddened by the murder.
