With the recent appointment of Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May, a lot of attention across social media has been focused on how she got into Number 10 in the first place.
The former Home Secretary took over from David Cameron after he quit being ‘the captain’ following the #Brexit result.
Her succession of Mr Cameron has led to opposition parties calling for a snap general election after she moved into Number 10 without a democratic vote from the public.
Worthy of noting however is that May is far from the first unelected prime minister, with Gordon Brown, John Major and even Winston Churchill making it on that list.
Do you think there should be a general election or should we carry on to see if our new ‘captain’ to stabilise the ship?
